ISPD Global Updates e-Newsletter

The ISPD e-newsletter, Global Updates, is distributed to ISPD members and affiliates. Through the ISPD Federation network, the newsletter also is disseminated to members of national societies in Europe, Asia, South America and Australia.

ISPD is very excited to be busy preparing for the 26th International Conference on Prenatal Diagnosis and Therapy, which will be held online and in person in Montréal 19-23 June 2022. There is much to celebrate about being back together in person, but we also recognize the need for the online option for those who cannot travel (or are just not ready to yet). The program is packed with world-renowned speakers and the hottest of hot topics. If you have not already registered, we invite you to do so before the rates go up again on 17 May 2022. Registration includes access to the session recordings for six months after the meeting

Congratulations Pioneer Award Winner: Dennis Lo, DM, DPhil

Created in 2018, the ISPD Pioneer in Prenatal Diagnosis and Therapy Award is the highest recognition given by the Society to a professional for outstanding contributions to the practice and profession of prenatal diagnosis and therapy. We congratulate Dennis Lo as the 2022 recipient of the award. He will give the Pioneer Award lecture at the annual ISPD International Conference.

Please join us for 26th International Conference on Prenatal Diagnosis and Therapy, 19-23 June 2022. Learn about the latest research and therapeutic advances from international experts. Attend virtually or in person in Montréal, Canada.

As of 1 April 2022, travelers entering Canada who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 are no longer required to test before traveling. Learn more on our . Some countries require negative tests before returning home, however, and ISPD will be sharing information on access to those tests for in-person attendees.

 

For both in-person and virtual attendees, registration includes six months of on-demand access to recordings from the days/courses for which they register (except for the fetal therapy simulation). Register by 16 May 2022 to receive the best rates available!

 

The exciting program features plenaries, debates, podium presentations, electronic posters, and thirty-four invited speakers. The Current Hottest Topics session features two invited talks and the three abstract presentations ranked highest by peer review. !
