Montréal Central Train Station

The central train station is a short metro or taxi ride from the conference venue.

 

By Car

Montréal is 75 kilometres (46 miles) from the U.S. Border and is on the Trans-Canada Highway. Canada uses the metric system, so speeds are indicated in kilometers (100 km/h = 62 mph) and gas is sold in liters (3 3/4 liters = 1 US gallon). In Montréal it is prohibited to turn right at a red light, or to use a hand-held cell phone while driving.

Metro

The metro operates daily from 5:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. (1:30 a.m. on Saturdays). The Place-d'Armes stop on the orange line is three blocks from the conference venue and close to the conference hotels.

Taxi

If you prefer getting around by taxi, it’s easy to flag one down on the street. You’ll also find them at one of the city’s many taxi stands or in front of most major hotels.

Bus

The 747 shuttle runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, between the airport and downtown. The Jeanne-Mance stop is two blocks from the conference venue and close to the conference hotels.
